The Queen’s MBA Career Networking Event is an excellent occasion for organisations, alumni and current MBA students to listen to a panel of experts covering a range of topics including industry insights and leadership challenges. The theme of the evening will highlight 'Trust within the Organisation.’ There will also be an opportunity for business networking over a light buffet.

Keith Lippert
Keith Lippert has 30 years of experience in financial services and most recently held the position of Vice President and Deputy Chief Information Security Officer at The Allstate Corporation, as Allstate's inaugural security officer located outside of the United States.

Keith has expertise in financial crime prevention, anti-terrorism, sanctions, money laundering, and fraud prevention. Before joining Allstate, he served as the Legal Chief Operating Officer for Barclays Bank in London and as the Vice President of International Fraud Prevention for American Express. Keith has also held the position of Chairman at banks in Russia, India, Mexico, and Canada and served as an officer of two national banks in the United States.
In 2019, Keith secured Patent No. 11,012,861 for 'Geo Location,' a cutting-edge fraud prevention tool that safeguards customers by blocking suspicious activity. This innovation has made Allstate the exclusive global provider of Geo Location for financial crime prevention.

Under Keith's leadership, the Northern Ireland team has achieved remarkable success, winning 21 prestigious cybersecurity awards. These accolades recognize their dedication to cyber innovation, reducing cybercrime, and protecting online citizens. Notable awards include Cyber Business of the Year 2020 at The National Cyber Awards, Responsible Business Champion 2020 by Business in the Community, the 2021 CSO50 Award for Identity and Access Management, the 2023 KuppingerCole award for European Identity and Cloud Innovation, and the 2023 Alan Turing Award at The National Cyber Awards.

Keith himself was honored with the esteemed Digital DNA Business Personality of the Year award in 2020. This recognition celebrates his positive impact on the local business community through his efforts in building a Cybersecurity Center of Excellence in Northern Ireland, inspiring future generations of cyber professionals as the leader of The National Cyber Security Centre’s CyberFirst initiative for Allstate in Northern Ireland, and his commitment to promoting diversity in the technology industry as a board member for Women in Business NI since 2019.

In 2023, Keith collaborated with the United States White House and Kemba Walton, the National Cyber Director of the US Government, to contribute to the National Cyber Workforce and Education Strategy. They worked on modeling aspects of the US program after the successful UK model.

Caroline van der Feltz - HR Director - Danske Bank
A native of Northern Ireland Caroline has been HR Director for Danske Bank since September 2015. Caroline has operated outside of NI for the majority of her career having held senior HR roles within the financial services and FMCG area based out of London.

She spent 11 years with the RBS Group working in the payments, retail banking and RBS/Natwest Private Banking area and before moving on was an Executive HR Director with Private Bank Coutts & Co.  

Prior to relocating to Belfast take up her current role with Danske Bank she was a Global HR Director for RB (Reckitt Benckiser) holding a significant global remit across both developed and developing markets.  Caroline is Chair of the CBI People and Skills Committee, sits on the Department for the Economy’s Northern Ireland Skills Committee and Chairs their Skills EDI Committee.

Caroline was awarded the IoD EDI Director of the Year award in 2022 and the CIPD Award in 2023 for Outstanding Contribnution in the field of Development in Northern Ireland in 2023.

Will Young - FCIPD - NICSHR Director (L&D, OH&W and ER)

Will joined the Northern Ireland Civil Service (NICS) at the beginning of April 2023 as the Director of Human Resources, NICHSR.  Will’s current portfolio includes the provision of Employee Relations, Occupational Health & Wellbeing, and Learning & Development services to all NICS staff. 

His focus is on enabling the organisation to face some of the challenges of the future, to manage change and transformation of NICSHR to make best use of our resources and ensure a positive employee experience across the NICS. 

Prior to joining the NICS, Will worked in the PSNI as the Assistant Chief Officer for People and Organisational Development, with responsibility for Human Resources, Occupational Health & Wellbeing, Health & Safety and the NI Police College.  He has also worked in a range of health and social care organisations (including the NI Fire and Rescue Service) and was the Assistant Head of Centre/Organisational Design Director of the Health and Social Care (HSC) Leadership Centre.

Will is a Chartered Fellow of CIPD, is a member of the CIPD NI Branch, and co-chair of the Peer to Peer Mentoring scheme.  He is also an experienced board member and currently works as a director of a local charity, the Children’s Heartbeat Trust.  He has been recently appointed as an Independent Panel Member of Diversity Mark NI.
