Law student Olivia Reid recently took part in the Belmont University Summer Programme alongside 24 other students from across Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. 

Highlights of the programme included visiting the Matthew Walker Comprehensive Health Centre, the Nashville Public Library, Belmont Mansion and Ephesian Primitive Baptist Church. The 3 week summer programme focused primarily on data analysis and city planning, learning about segregation and the Civil Rights Movement in Nashville, Tennessee. The programme offered a hands-on experience to develop skills and use tools to plan for a more inclusive urban community.
