The Centre for Gender in Politics is pleased to host a talk by shine choi who joins us as AHSS Global Fellow.
Based on research for her new book, Dr Choi will present a working chapter on monumentality and how history and memory politics could break open through Buddhist and other non-western mediations on nothingness (and demonumentalise our conceptions of peace, sovereignty, freedom, grief).
