In Pictures: Chinese New Year Launch at Queen's – Happy Year of the Rabbit! 兔年快乐!

On Tuesday 24 January a full attendance of 80 students and staff members attended the launch of the Chinese New Year celebrations at Queen's.

Beginning with a Welcome and Food reception, the launch continued with the familiar and ever-popular vibrant Dragon Dance and Parade from the McClay Library to the Lanyon Building. The Dragon Dance was followed by an interactive cultural exhibition in the Junction cafe area in the Main Site Tower.

Get involved and learn more

A range of culture talks on a variety of themes and topics on Chinese culture will continue over the celebration period. A 'Fun Time with Table Tennis' will take place on Saturday 4 February, for staff colleagues who would like to develop some new skills.
