Queen's Postdoctoral Researchers celebrated in annual showcase 2025
The annual Postdoc Showcase at Queen’s University took place on Friday 26 September. This year's event theme was 'Voices of the Future: Postdocs Shaping Tomorrow’.

Held in celebration of National Postdoc Appreciation Week 2025 (15 to 19 September) – this event was organised by the Postdoc Society (PDS) with support from the Postdoctoral Development Centre (PDC), and took place in the Canada Room/Council Chamber and The Great Hall.
The showcase was an opportunity for all postdocs and research staff at Queen's to talk about and exhibit their research, learn about research activity underway in other areas of the University, and take part in face-to-face networking. The day also saw the awarding of the PDC Postdoc Awards.
Opening with a welcome address from Professor Peter Robertson, Associate Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Equality, Diversity and Inclusion), the event included an update about the Postdoctoral Development Centre and its activities, expert panel discussions, oral presentations, a research poster / display exhibition, a postdoc drop-in clinic, prize givings and a drinks reception to close.
