The International Office Undergraduate Scholarship is awarded to new International tuition fee students beginning their full-time studies at Queen's University Belfast in the academic year 2022/23.

About the Award

This award is exclusively for new International students beginning their first year of full-time undergraduate study in Queen's University Belfast in the academic year 2022/23 who meet the conditions of their academic offer.

No separate application for this scholarship is required. If you are holding an offer for an eligible programme and meet the criteria as set out in these terms & conditions, you will automatically be awarded an International Office Undergraduate Scholarship upon enrolment.


All new International students beginning their first year of full-time postgraduate taught study at Queen's University Belfast in the academic year 2022/23 who meet the conditions of their academic offer will receive an International Office Postgraduate Taught Scholarship.

No separate application for this scholarship is required. If you are holding an offer for an eligible programme and meet the criteria as set out in these terms & conditions, you will automatically be awarded an International Office Postgraduate Taught Scholarship upon enrolment.


The Queen’s Loyalty Scholarship is a 20% reduction on first year gross tuition fees available exclusively to students who have been assessed as paying International tuition fee rates and are Queen’s University alumni, Exchange, Study Abroad, International Summer School or AHSS Winter School Students who have successfully completed the full duration of their previous programme with Queen’s University Belfast and are returning for a full duration postgraduate programme at the Queen’s University Belfast campus in the academic year 2022/23.

The Queen’s Family Scholarship is a 20% reduction on first year gross tuition fees available exclusively to students who have been assessed as paying International tuition fee rates and are the children or siblings of Queen’s alumni or current Queen's University Belfast students, beginning a full duration eligible postgraduate programme at the Queen’s University Belfast campus in the academic year 2022/23.

Four scholarships offering a 50% reduction on full tuition fees are available to exceptionally talented international students paying international tuition fee rates who will be starting their full-time undergraduate studies at Queen’s University Belfast in the academic year 2022/23.

Exclusions apply.

50% discount on tuition fees paid for all years of a programme, up to a maximum of four years. (Including advanced entry into Year 2 or Year 3).

Applicants can only apply and be considered for the Vice Chancellor’s International Attainment Scholarship-Undergraduate after they have been offered a place to study on their chosen eligible programme and confirmed Queen’s University Belfast as their FIRM choice by their UCAS deadline. Applications cannot be considered in advance of applicants meeting these two criteria.

A 10% reduction is available to new international students beginning a full-time course enroling in 2021/22 who hold an unconditional offer after 30 June 2021 and pay 90% of net tuition fees within 5 days of their offer changing and no later than 15 September 2021.

May be used in conjunction with other International Office scholarships.

This award is available exclusively to students from select schools in India who will be starting their full-time undergraduate degree at Queen's University Belfast in September 2022. Applicants must be a student or have studied at one of the schools in India specified, see eligibility tab and must attain overall 85% or above in their 12th Grade to be eligible.

The LLB Senior Status International Scholarship is awarded to new students paying full International tuition fee rates, enrolling in their first year of study of full-time studies in the graduate entry LLB (Senior Status) accelerated law degree at Queen's University Belfast in the academic year 2022/23.

 

No separate application for this scholarship is required. If you are holding an offer for graduate entry LLB (Senior Status) accelerated qualifying law degree and meet the criteria as set out in these terms & conditions, you will automatically be awarded the LLB Senior Status International Scholarship upon enrolment.

 

Eligible applicants will receive confirmation of their LLB Senior Status International Scholarship shortly after their offer has been issued.


This merit based award is exclusive to International students who have commenced their Undergraduate programme in the academic year 2021-22. Eligible students who achieve a 75% GPA in the academic year 2021-22 will be awarded a merit based award in the subsequent academic year 2022-23.

This merit-based award is exclusive to new International Students who will commence a full-time and full duration undergraduate programme in the academic year 2022/23. Eligible students who achieve a 75% GPA in the academic year 2022/23 will be awarded a merit-based award in the subsequent academic year 2023/24. Exceptional students who maintain a minimum GPA of 75% will receive this award in consecutive years

All new International students beginning their first year of a full-time Law (Juris Doctor) at Queen's University Belfast in the academic year 2022/23 and who meet the conditions of their academic offer will receive a Law (Juris Doctor) Scholarship of £2500. No application is necessary.

Awards of £5,000 available exclusively for outstanding international applicants from Latin America who choose to study postgraduate taught programmes at Queen’s Management School.


Awards of £5,000 available exclusively for outstanding international applicants from the Middle East and North Africa who choose to study postgraduate taught programmes at Queen’s Management School.

To be eligible you should be normally resident in any of the following countries:

Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Islamic Republic of Iran, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Morocco Oman, Palestinian Territories, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syrian Arab Republic, United Arab Emirates or Yemen.


Awards of £5,000 available exclusively for outstanding international applicants from Sub Saharan Africa who choose to study postgraduate taught programmes at Queen’s Management School.


Awards of £5,000 available exclusively for outstanding international applicants from North America who choose to study postgraduate taught programmes at Queen’s Management School.


Awards of £5,000 available exclusively for outstanding international applicants from South Asia who choose to study postgraduate taught programmes at Queen’s Management School.


Awards of £5,000 available exclusively for outstanding international applicants from South East Asia who choose to study postgraduate taught programmes at Queen’s Management School.


New international students progressing from INTO Queen's with unconditional offers for the academic year 2022/23 may receive an INTO Progressors Scholarship which offers a 10% reduction on net tuition fees when paying their tuition fees in full* by the deadline. 

 

*Full tuition fees less any International Office awards including the INTO Progressors Scholarship should be paid by the 16 September deadline.


4 awards of £5,000 towards tuition fees for the first year of undergraduate study

 

 


The specific purpose of the award is to support a postgraduate student from Palestine who otherwise would not be able to study at Queen’s due to financial limitations. To be eligible for this scholarship you must have Palestinian nationality and live in Gaza or the West Bank excluding East Jerusalem, and belong to a family normally resident there.

The Scholarship will cover international tuition fees for a taught masters.

Accommodation in a single room, suitable for one person, will also be provided in Queen’s accommodation for the duration of a one year Masters programme.

One scholarship will be awarded for 2022/23


GREAT Scholarships are jointly funded by Queen’s University Belfast, the UK government’s GREAT Britain campaign, and the British Council.

We are offering £10,000 towards tuition fees for one-year master’s programmes to students from Egypt enrolling on MSc Net Zero Engineering.

There will be up to 20 full PhD scholarships available for candidates starting their studies in the 2022-23 academic year.  Applicants currently in the first year of a PhD programme at Queen's in the 2021-22 academic year may also apply, if they meet the eligibility requirements (including academic criteria and English language).  Such applicants must have commenced their PhD on or after 1 September 2021 in order to be eligible for consideration.
