INTO Progressors Scholarship 2023/24
Unconditional offer holders progressing from INTO Queen's paying fees in full can receive a £1500 tuition fee reduction.

New international students with unconditional offers for the academic year 2023/24 may receive the INTO Progressors Scholarship which awards a tuition fee discount of £1500 when paying their tuition fees in full* by the deadline.

Terms and Conditions | VALUE: £1500

The INTO Progressors Scholarship is available to new international students beginning a full-time course in the academic year 2023/24. Students must be progressing from INTO Queen's and hold an unconditional offer before paying full tuition fees less any International Office awards including the INTO Progressors Scholarship by 15 September 2023.

May be used in conjunction with other International Office Scholarships.

Vice Chancellor's International Attainment Scholarship
Undergraduate Scholarship Value: 50% of tuition fees paid for up to a maximum of four years

4 awards available 

  • Who is Eligible: Four exceptional new undergraduate international students enrolling on one of the specified full-time undergraduate programmes will receive this prestigious award.
  • Application Process: Application is necessary. Video submission and online application required. Deadline 15:00 BST 8 June 2023.

Applicants can only apply and be considered for the Vice Chancellor’s International Attainment Scholarship-Undergraduate after they have been offered a place to study on one of the  programmes listed below and confirmed Queen’s University Belfast as their FIRM choice by their UCAS deadline. Applications cannot be considered in advance of applicants meeting these two criteria.

Applicants applying for the above named programmes with an additional year in industry are also eligible to apply as are those selecting a 4 or 5 year undergraduate masters programme in the above named programmes. These applicants should please apply here

LLB Law Senior Status Scholarship

For your first year of study when enrolling on LLB Law Senior Status.

  • Who is Eligible: Students enrolling Autumn 2023 will be automatically assessed for the LLB Law Senior Status Scholarship award.
  • Application Process: No application necessary. Students will be automatically assessed for the award.

All scholarships are offered subject to Terms and Conditions 

This award is exclusively for new international students beginning their first year of full-time study on the graduate entry Law Senior Status (LLB HONS) accelerated qualifying law degree at Queen's University Belfast in the academic year 2023/24 who meet the conditions of their academic offer.

No separate application for this scholarship is required. If you are holding an offer for graduate entry Law Senior Status (LLB HONS) accelerated qualifying law degree and meet the criteria as set out in these terms & conditions, you will automatically be awarded the LLB Senior Status International Scholarship upon enrolment.

All eligible international applicants will receive notification shortly after receiving their offer.

Queen's Excellence Award
Scholarship Value: £2000

For exceptional students continuing their undergraduate programme. Exclusions apply

  • Who is Eligible: This is a merit-based award is exclusive to international students who will commence their full-time and full duration undergraduate programme in the academic year 2023/24. Eligible students who achieve a 75% GPA in the academic year 2023/24 will be awarded a merit-based award in the subsequent academic year 2023/24. Exceptional students who maintain a minimum GPA of 75% may receive this award in consecutive years.
  • Application Process: No application necessary. Awards made automatically to eligible new international students on enrolment.

All scholarships are offered subject to Terms and Conditions

No separate application for this scholarship is required. If you achieve at least 75% GPA at the end of the academic year and meet the eligibility criteria as set out in the terms & conditions, you will automatically be awarded a Queen’s Excellence Award following enrolment in the next year of your undergraduate programme.

Scholarship Value: 20% Fee Reduction

  • Who is Eligible: For children, grandchildren or brothers and sisters of Queen’s alumni and current students beginning a full duration course at Queen’s University Belfast. Available to eligible international students enrolling on undergraduate, postgraduate taught or postgraduate research programmes. Exclusions apply.

All scholarships are offered subject to Terms and Conditions 

The scholarship may only be claimed by students whose sibling, parent or grandparent is currently pursuing, or has already completed, a full duration* undergraduate or postgraduate programme at Queen's University Belfast. (*All years of programme must be completed at Queen’s University Belfast).

Stepchildren and step siblings may also be eligible.

Students wishing to avail of the Queen’s Family Scholarship may be required to provide additional verification of their relationship to the current Queen’s University Belfast student or Queen’s University Belfast Alumni through whom they are claiming the Scholarship.

Undergraduate students must be beginning a full duration undergraduate programme i.e., a minimum of 3 years at the Queen's University Belfast campus.
