In an increasingly virtual world and instantaneous 24hour news, it is difficult to balance these and not feel overwhelmed, under pressure or isolated, especially in the dark and cold days of winter. All research suggests that things feel easier if you have people to talk to, share problems with and, importantly, have fun with, and for our students who expect to meet new friends at University and have new experiences, this is especially difficult in these times of social restrictions. The information and events promoted on these pages are therefore designed to help us, the EPS Community - Staff and Students, those for whom Belfast is home and those who will hopefully feel it is at least for a few years - support each other. psychological, physical and socially.
