The Biomedical Library provides a service to anyone eligible to use the Queen's University Library, including Health and Social Care (HSC) staff. The Library is situated beside Reception on the ground floor of the Medical Biology Centre. It holds books and journals on biomedical sciences, health, medicine, nursing & midwifery and pharmacy. Study spaces are available and computer facilities are available in the Student Computing Centre adjacent to the Library.
The Biomedical Library had been closed during the Covid-19 outbreak but reopened on Monday 3rd August, with a reduced capacity. A book collection service is in place for items located in the Medical and Biomedical Libraries, and study space needs to be booked. Further information about the Biomedical Library reopening can be found on the Library blog.
