Throughout October, visitors to the McClay Library are invited to explore “Commemorating Black Histories of Intellectual Resistance.” This exhibition on Floor 1 has been curated by Professor Dina Zoe Belluigi (SSESW, AfSRN) and is supported by the SSESW Athena Swan Committee. The display highlights the enduring legacy of Black scholars and thinkers who have challenged injustice through intellectual resistance. Professor Belluigi’s companion blog discussion is available here. Alongside this, Dr. Eric Morier-Genoud (HAPP) presents “Africans at Queen’s University”, an exploration of African presence and contributions at Queen’s.
