Library Mental Health Awareness Week Events

The Library is excited to let you know that this year we are taking part in #QUBeWell University Mental Health Week from Monday 1st – Friday 5th March.

It has been a tough year for everyone and the programme this year incorporates opportunities to engage in social, community and wellbeing events and help develop better mental health awareness.  All have been designed to help combat feelings of isolation and evoke a sense of community while providing support.

There will be 45+ events for you to sign up to at: https://www.qub.ac.uk/sites/QUBeWell/Events/ (This event has now passed) with the Library hosting 3 of these.

@QUBLibrary is hosting an online Games Night to help bring everyone together for a bit of light-hearted fun during University Mental Health Week.

COVID-19 has increased feelings of isolation and had a negative impact on mental health for many.  Hopefully taking some time for a little fun will help provide some relaxation time and mindfulness opportunity.

How can I be in with a chance of winning a prize?

Anyone with an active QUB Library membership can enter the prize draws and anyone who accesses the links can also play along for fun.

To have a possibility of winning a prize you will need to take a screenshot of your completion times and send through by simply replying to the Games posts on @QUBLibrary Facebook and Twitter accounts, or private message us on either account.

If multiple winning entries are received, a random number generator will be used to select an overall winner.

Prizes will be announced closer to the event night, and winners will be announced on @QUBLibrary social media accounts.

Good luck everyone!
