The Library invites you to wander through “The Digital Graveyard,” an exhibition of obsolescence marking World Digital Preservation Day. From ghosts of obsolete media to bit rot, media decay, and the fragile afterlife of digital data, this interactive exhibit reveals how quickly innovation can turn to extinction.

Coinciding with the exhibition, the Library has also released its Digital Preservation Strategy, outlining goals over the next 5 years (2025-2030) to safeguard digital collections in the Library at Queen's for future generations.

“The Digital Graveyard,” exhibition will be held in the first-floor exhibition cabinets at the McClay Library, from 6-30 November.
