You said, we did – responding to your feedback
Last week, library staff shared their learning from the various projects they worked on after getting feedback from you. Lots of you will remember being asked what you liked or would improve about the libraries you study in.
We loved the feedback we got – lots of you were really positive about the aspects of your libraries that you felt worked well, and the things you said could be improved help us to make the library as user-friendly as possible.

From the feedback you gave us, here are some of the things we worked on:
- Improving the signage for Group Study Rooms at Biomed
- Trialling a microwave at Medical (this is going to be permanent; we just need work out a few safety issues)
- Improving the way we do induction, including doing this throughout the year, rather than as a one-off
- Improving the Special Collections website
- Gathering evidence about the book sorter at McClay (spoiler: you like it!)
- Gathering feedback about the Reserve and Collect service
We hope that the outcomes from these projects enhance your library experience – we do love getting feedback, so please let us know!
