As of 1 July 2021 until 31 December 2021, the Wiley ‘Read and Publish’ open access fund will be limited to UKRI, the Wellcome Trust and former *COAF funded research articles only.

Queen's researchers can now publish open access with no charge in journals that are part of a "transformative" or "read & publish" agreement.

2020 was an exceptionally busy year for e-thesis at Queen’s. . In the period 1 Jan – 31 Dec 2020, the e-thesis team validated 451 e-theses.

The Library’s Open Research Team has published, on behalf of the University, an Article Processing Charges (APCs) expenditure report for the period April 2020 to March 2021.

From 1 September 2021 all PGR students* must submit ONLY an electronic version of their final thesis as a condition of fulfilment of their award.

Visitors can now book appointments to consult Special Collections and Archives material Monday to Saturday.
