Queen's researchers can now publish open access with no charge in journals that are part of a "transformative" or "read & publish" agreement.

2020 was an exceptionally busy year for e-thesis at Queen’s. . In the period 1 Jan – 31 Dec 2020, the e-thesis team validated 451 e-theses.


From 12th October until 31st December 2020 OA publishing with Wiley will be limited to Wellcome, UKRI, Blood Cancer UK, British Heart Foundation, Cancer Research UK, Parkinson’s UK and Versus Arthritis funded research only.

From 1 September 2021 all PGR students* must submit ONLY an electronic version of their final thesis as a condition of fulfilment of their award.
