The lecture series is designed to introduce students to the experience of working within humanitarian settings through the invitation of guest speakers. Other activities may include conferences and forums to encourage the active discussion and debate of humanitarian action within disaster afflicated countries.  Workshops may also be provided meant to introduce basic skills (clinical or otherwise) that may be useful for future volunteer work.
