Sexual Awareness For Everyone (SAFE)

Sexual Awareness For Everyone (SAFE)

The sexual health awareness group is a student-led initiative, raising awareness and promoting safe sexual health among a diverse student cohort, and sign-posting services in Belfast.

Students will guide the project by tackling the issues that matter to them. A mystery shop of services, holding a stall at the Students' Union, 'Wellness Week', and any other ideas they have that are within the scope of the project.

Initially, all students will receive comprehensive sexual health and relationship training, provided by Brook, as well as listening to talks from services such as Lasi and The Rainbow Project, who will promote the services they offer in Belfast.

Volunteers will be fundamental in setting the foundations for the project, being involved in every step such as naming the project, organising a webpage, engaging in poster campaigns, and volunteering at promotional stalls in the Students' Union.
