The Modules has Training Objectives that cover Military Training and Personal Development in Leadership & Command, Event planning, Written & Verbal Communication, Physical fitness, First Aid, Teamwork, use of Modern Technology, Researching and Briefing on Current Affairs.

Each Module takes 1 year each to complete, culminating it all over a 2 year period.

For those that have passed both Modules and are in their 3rd or 4th year of education will remain with QUOTC. They will continue on in developing themselves in the areas mentioned in the first paragraph, which also includes advanced Military training, which includes being placed in roles as leaders, commanding the junior OCdts and at times assisting the Training staff through various tasks and lessons.

This is broken down into 17 Training Nights, 8 Training Weekends and a 2 week Military exercise package per year (From Sept to June).

During their time here, the OCdts have been involved in Military and Sporting Competitions, Adventurous Training inc gaining Instructional qualifications and attendance of social functions.

Those OCdts that are interested in a career in the Military as an Officer will also attend AOSB training packages to prepare them for assessments to gain entry as potential officers at Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
