Wellbeing on Weekdays (WOW) events are based on the Public Health Agency's 'Take 5 Steps to Wellbeing': Connect, Keep Learning, Be Active, Take Notice, Give.

This event will focus on 'Connect'.

This Wellbeing on Weekday (WOW) event is open to all students and encourages attendees to unlock their creative side and make new friends as they are invited to make Friendship Bracelets. This is a collaborative event between Mind Your Mood and the QUB Feminist and Equality Society. 

The QUB Feminist and Equality Society is a society full of people who are passionate about feminism and want to learn more about what feminism is, and what it means to them. They create a space for members to meet others, join in with activism, raise money and awareness for charity and to help educate not only themselves but others. They focus on a wide range of issues including but not limited to, access to abortion, LGBTQ+ rights and men's mental health. 

Join us from 18:30-20:30 at the Cube where you will get the opportunity to make Friendship Bracelets and get the chance to meet other students and make some friends. This workshop is free of charge and all students are welcome. Supplies to make bracelets will be provided along with Pizza and refreshments. The QUB Feminist and Equality society will be providing a talk around Inclusive Feminism. Photographs will also be taken during the event and may feature on Mind Your Mood’s and/or QUB Feminist and Equality Society’s social media.
