Join Dr Eimear O'Connor for this workshop which will help you understand how and when you work best and share tips on how to manage your time to increase your productivity. We'll cover planning and organising your work to meet deadlines, prioritising your activities, what works for you and what hinders you, and what you can do to manage your time more effectively. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions, share your learning, and network with other students.

Meet the Consultant

Eimear O’Connor is Researcher Development Consultant at the Graduate School. With 10 years’ experience training and supervising people in a variety of academic and non-academic settings, Eimear enjoys working with others and helping them to develop new skills. Eimear has a PhD in Psychology from Queen’s and stayed with us to complete three years of postdoctoral research. Eimear’s previous experience before taking up her role at the Graduate School included working as an Associate Lecturer at the Open University, a Quality and Compliance Officer in Belfast Met and as a Senior Research Officer for the Northern Ireland Council for the Curriculum, Examinations & Assessment. Eimear has also worked in the private and voluntary sector.
