Child Participation Think Tank: Children's Rights and Social Work - enhancing participatory research

An international expert ‘think tank’ was held at the faculty of social affairs at the RheinMain University of Applied Sciences in Germany on the subject of "Children's Rights and Social Work enhancing participatory research". Experts from many European and African countries were brought together to discuss in a storytelling café and in workshops about their research on childhood and child rights and their personal experiences in this context. Experts included Dr Michelle Templeton and Dr Dirk Schubotz from Centre for Children’s Rights at Queen’s University Belfast along with Prof. Spyros Spyrou from the European University of Cyprus and Dr. Katharina Gerarts, professor of childhood sciences at the Evangelische Hochschule in Darmstadt.
