Our student surveys allow you to have your say on the student experience at Queen’s.

As a thank you for your feedback, you will also be in with a chance of winning some great prizes.

The Queen’s Student Survey

The Queen’s Student Survey is conducted online and allows you to have your say on key aspects of the Queen’s academic experience, including the quality of teaching, levels of support and availability of learning resources.

The Queen’s Student survey is live from 30 January to 12 February 2023 

The survey is anonymous and aims to provide decision-makers within Queen’s with a realistic, timely and accurate reflection of the student experience. We hope to listen to what you have to say and respond by making changes and improvements.

FINAL YEARS: THE NATIONAL STUDENT SURVEY

The NSS gives you the opportunity to say what you think about your course at Queen’s. It allows you to say both what you liked and what you think could be improved.
Your feedback will be used to help those considering higher education to make decisions about where and what to study.

The National Student Survey is open from 11 January to 30 April 2023

Queen’s will use this information from the survey to make real changes to the student experience. 

Responses will remain anonymous. 

WHY ENTER? 

As well as paying it forward to improve the Queen’s experience for future generations of students, you will be entered into a draw to win one of five £120 high street shopping vouchers. 

HOW TO ENTER:

You will receive an email from Ipsos with a personal link to the survey. 

Final year students can access the National Student Survey from here survey by providing details such as your student number and date of birth.

Graduate Outcomes Survey

The Graduate Outcomes survey is delivered by HESA (Higher Education Statistics Agency).

Graduates are contacted by HESA directly about the survey by phone, text or email, 15 months after completing your course.

Influence how employers are targeting students and win great prizes! It only takes 20 minutes to complete.

We want to know about your plans after finishing university. Your responses are used to help create the publication 'The UK 300' and also to inform the activities of university careers services and employers.

To enter the prize draw you will be asked to provide an email address, so winners can be contacted, and will also receive an email confirming you have completed the survey. All the responses you submit are anonymous and confidential

Postgraduate Experience Surveys 

We run national postgraduate experience surveys for Postgraduate Taught (PTES) and Postgraduate Research (PRES) students overseen by Advance HE.

The PTES survey for students on postgraduate taught (Master’s including MRes, PG Diploma and PG Certificate) and the PRES survey for students on postgraduate research (MPhil, PhD) and professional doctorate courses (EdD, JD, DCliniPsych, etc.) courses take place anytime between February and mid-June, and February and mid-May respectively.

If you are a PGT or PGR student, you will receive a link inviting you to participate in the relevant survey.
