Camp Canada (Summer Camp)

Camp Canada gives you the opportunity to have an authentic travel experience, whilst also earning spending money and developing your skills. From developing yourself to making an impact on others, make your Summer one to remember.

Camp Canada is the opportunity for you to spend 8-10 weeks living and working in a summer camp surrounded by amazing Canadian landscapes.

You will be responsible for campers, either by acting as a role model and ensuring the wellbeing of your campers as a Camp Counsellor, or by teaching different groups of campers your chosen skill as an Activity Specialist.

After camp there is a chance to travel for up to 6 months and explore the vast mountain ranges of Canada. You could take a trip to Niagara Falls, or even dive into one of Canada's metropolitan cities and discover some truly unbeatable diners, bars, and restaurants.

Does it Cost?

Cost Details

This is no programme fee for Camp Canada. Their website explains:

We have adjusted our program and removed the program fee because we believe camp is for everybody. Therefore we want to make it more accessible to a wider variety of people.

Normally there would be an upfront cost for a program like this, for example other work and travel experiences in North America. Instead, your future camp employer will be subsidising your program fees.

Additional costs are:

  • Flights
  • Police check
  • Electronic Travel Authorization fee - $7 CAD
  • Biometrics fee - $85 CAD

There may be further costs, please see Camp Canada's website for further details.
