Look After Your Mate is a workshop for students who are looking to support their friend or peers at university who may be struggling with their mental health. The session gives students the skills, knowledge and confidence to support these individuals, whilst looking after their own mental health too.

For students, navigating university life can be tricky at times and we know how important it is for an individual to reach out to their friends in times of need. We want students to have the knowledge, confidence and skills to support their friends and feel comfortable confiding in each other.

Join our Mental Health Adviser Rebecca who will be delivering this training session. Rebecca has receieved training from Student Minds to deliver this workshop.

This workshop is open to all students at Queen's, however is specifically targeted towards students who identify as male.

This event will take place in Aleksander's Bakery (20 University Avenue) and refreshments will be provided.
