New Publication from RADICAL Child and Youth Advisory Group
Members of the Child and Youth Research Advisory Groups have published their first research output as part of the RADICAL project, marking an important milestone in their involvement in the research.
Congratulations to members of the Child and Youth Research Advisory Groups involved in the RADICAL project on the publication of their first research output.
RADICAL is an ESRC-funded project led by the Centre for Children’s Rights at Queen’s University Belfast, in partnership with Ulster University, University of Strathclyde, Scouts NI and Belfast City Youth Council.
The project explores children and young people’s understandings of respect and disrespect. Members of the advisory groups played a central role in co-designing survey questions for the Kids Life and Times and Young Life and Times surveys.
Several advisory group members also worked alongside the QUB research team to co-author a Research Update summarising the study's key findings. The Research Update is available to read here.
Of their role in working on the Research Update, one member of the advisory said:
‘It was really good to look back and see how much work we have done. You really felt included throughout the whole process by being allowed to share the responsibility for the research update.’
