The convening team is led by senior figures from the School of History, Anthropology, Philosophy and Politics, Professor Alister Miskimmon and Dr Stefan Andreasson. Stefan said: “We are looking forward to welcoming our colleagues and friends from throughout the academic community to join us at Queen’s University Belfast for what promises to be a stimulating opportunity to further research agendas that seek to address the most pressing global challenges of our times”.
The Centre is hosting the PSA Specialist Group "Ethnopolitics" and jointly with colleagues across the UK will explore the significance of resilience and expertise in adressing the issues of ethnic conflict, peace building and reconciliation while responding to fundamental disruption such as current Covid-19 pandemic.
