Rapid review of Alcohol Use Disorders and Mental Health
The DARN team was awarded a grant by Alcohol Change UK earlier this year for a rapid evidence review of Alcohol Use Disorders and Mental Health.
The review report has been published by Alcohol Change as part of a national review to identify priority areas in the field of alcohol harm reduction. Entitled ‘The relationship between alcohol and mental health problems’, the review provides an overview of policy, service delivery and treatment models to consider the context of treatment and the effectiveness of interventions relevant to individuals with comorbid conditions. The report was compiled by Anne Campbell, Trisha Forbes, Aisling McLaughlin, Gavin Davidson, Michelle Butler, Trisha Forbes, Carolyn Blair, Norma Menabney and Clare McKeaveney.
