Welcome to the Quantum Technologies research strand of the School

The Quantum Technology group active within CQMT addresses the most pressing problems in quantum information processing, quantum control and characterisation of quantum processes, and the foundations of quantum mechanics.

The group is leading the international efforts in the development of a self-contained framework for quantum thermodynamics, the investigation of quantum effects at the large-scale limit, the characterisation of quantum resources in systems consisting of multiple elements, and the use of artificial intelligence to enhance quantum information processing. We have a strong international dimension and collaborate with experimentalists and theorists alike.
