The under-representation of women in the science and engineering sector is a reminder of the effort that still needs to be undertaken in order to close the gender divide and enable progress towards parity.  The EEECS WLP is designed to upskill women with the necessary knowledge and behaviours to confidently and successfully transition into leadership roles in the workplace.  The programme focuses on:

• Understanding their own and others’ personality and behavioural preferences
• Developing sell-confidence and personal resilience
• Influencing and engaging others
• Leading self and others through change

This year 28 women from EEECS (UG, PG students and staff) took part in the programme during January and February 2020. The graduation dinner will be used to celebrate EEECS women’s achievement.
