What To Bring

Programme of Activities/Themed Weeks:

The weekly programme will be uploaded to the web site here on Thursday for the following week of the scheme. Please note this is subject to change based on availability of coaches and weather.

Swimming

All groups will have swimming included in their weekly programme. On Weeks 1, 2 and 5, swimming will be included every day. On Weeks 3, 4, 6 & 7, swimming will be included 3 days a week: on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Please ensure your child is prepared with the correct kit for swimming which must also include a swim cap. If your child has no swim cap, they will not be able to participate in the swim session that day.

Medication

Please inform the Scheme coordinator if your child requires medication during the day. Please ensure your child has sunscreen with them for hot days during the scheme.

Locker Provision

There will be no locker provision this year and bags will be left in a designated area in the main and minor hall. Queen's Sport does not accept responsibility for the loss of property, valuable items, or money.

Code of Conduct

At Queen's Sport we aim to provide a safe, secure and enjoyable environment where children can learn sport and take part in enjoyable physical activity. Throughout the scheme staff and coaches will work in partnership with parents to safeguard children and to promote good practice at all times. We would ask that parents work with staff to ensure their children follow the code of conduct. If your child is found to be acting inappropriately and the situation cannot be resolved by our staff and children involved, then your child will be asked to leave the scheme. No refund will be available in these circumstances.

Refunds

Please note that due to the high demand for places at our summer scheme refunds will only be issued under health or other extenuating circumstances.

For any general enquiries please email courseenquires@qub.ac,uk or summerscheme@qub.ac.uk .

We look forward to welcoming your child(ren) to this year's Summer Scheme at Queen's Sport.
