This award is exclusively for new international students beginning their first year of full-time study on the graduate entry Law Senior Status (LLB HONS) accelerated qualifying law degree at Queen's University Belfast in the academic year 2024/25 who meet the conditions of their academic offer.
No separate application for this scholarship is required. If you are holding an offer for graduate entry Law Senior Status (LLB HONS) accelerated qualifying law degree and meet the criteria as set out in these terms & conditions, you will automatically be awarded the LLB Senior Status International Scholarship upon enrolment.
All eligible international applicants will receive notification shortly after receiving their offer.

For exceptional students continuing their undergraduate programme. Exclusions apply
- Who is Eligible: Students who achieve a 75% GPA in an academic year will be awarded a merit-based award following enrolment at the start of the subsequent academic year, with the exception of those who have programmes involving a placement year. Placement year students will receive their award following enrolment in the next academic year at which they will be studying at the Queen’s University Belfast campus. Exceptional students who maintain a minimum GPA of 75% may receive this award in consecutive years.

- Who is Eligible: Applicants from India studying MSc Educational Leadership at Queen's University Belfast in 2024/25, who are unable to study abroad through the finances of their immediate family.
- Award Value: The Scholarship will cover international tuition fees for a taught masters in MSc Educational Leadership

Financial Criteria
Gross Family Income: Annual Income should be less than Rs 10 Lakh (10,000 Pounds)
Note: Gross income refers to the income before deductions for taxes or other purposes.
Other criteria: The education and occupation of parents, siblings and other family members will be taken into consideration.
The financial eligibility of the applicant will also assessed from the family’s living conditions and the total expenses being incurred by the family on the applicant’s education.
Preference will be given to applicants who are the first graduates of the family.
Applicants must provide all applicable mandatory documents listed to be considered for the award.

- Details of basic salary and all allowances and deductions

Reduction in tuition fees for Year 1
- Who is Eligible: New international students with unconditional offers for the academic year 2024/25 may receive a discount of £1500 when paying their tuition fees in full* by the appropriate deadline.
- Application Process: No application necessary, however students must email proof of payment confirmation to International Scholarships by the appropriate deadlines.

A £1500 reduction in tuition fees is available to new international students beginning a full-time course in the academic year 2024/25 who hold an unconditional offer and pay tuition fees less any International Office awards including the Early Confirmation Award by the following deadlines:
- Undergraduate unconditional offer holders 31 August 2024
- Postgraduate Taught unconditional offer holders 31 August 2024
- Postgraduate Research unconditional offer holders not later than 90 days before the start date given in their offer letter

For Year 1 of study only

- Who is Eligible: For children, grandchildren or brothers and sisters of Queen’s alumni and current students beginning a full duration course at Queen’s University Belfast. The scholarship may only be claimed by students whose sibling, parent or grandparent is currently pursuing, or has already completed, a full duration* undergraduate or postgraduate programme at Queen's University Belfast. (*All years of programme must be completed at Queen’s University Belfast).
Stepchildren and step siblings may also be eligible.
Students wishing to avail of the Queen’s Family Scholarship may be required to provide additional verification of their relationship to the current Queen’s University Belfast student or Queen’s University Belfast Alumni through whom they are claiming the Scholarship.
Undergraduate students must be beginning a full duration undergraduate programme i.e., a minimum of 3 years at the Queen's University Belfast campus.
