Examinations
• The pass mark is 40%.
• Candidates must pass all modules to be awarded the Graduate Certificate. Candidates who pass all modules and who achieve an overall average of 70% or over will be eligible to receive a pass with distinction, those who achieve 60%-70% overall will be eligible to receive a pass with commendation and those who achieve between 40%-60% overall the award will be at the pass level.
• Candidates who pass the Graduate Certificate (with an overall mark >50%) may, on the recommendation of the Board of Examiners, be permitted to transfer to the Postgraduate Certificate in Communication.

On completion of the programme the student will be able to:

• Communicate effectively in a personal and business context, using appropriate interpersonal skills and, where necessary, apply these skills within a job context, relevant to the agri-food and rural business sectors.
