During the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic our priority is always to protect the health and wellbeing of our staff, students and visitors and the University has subsequently implemented a number of measures to help limit the spread of COVID-19.The University has published an FAQs page specific to COVID-19 (coronavirus) to keep all members of our community updated. In addition to this, there are also People and Culture specific COVID-19 FAQ's, relating to the ongoing impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
We have produced a helpful document setting out Staff Health and Wellbeing Guidance in relation to COVID-19.
As we start planning for our return to campus People & Culture have developed a comprehensive Manager Guide and further resources to support managers and staff as we enter this recovery phase. This guidance will continue to be updated and evolve as lockdown measures ease further. Access the Manager Guide here.
The University has already and shall continue to put in place appropriate measures, in line with advice from the Public Health Agency (PHA), to help us safely engage with others, move around, study and work on campus. However, for these measures to be effective, we all must play our part. Therefore, we ask everyone at the University, both staff and students, to commit to the Campus Community Pledge and in doing so behave in line with our core values ICARE.
Employees who feel listened to are likely to care more. Employees who care more, will provide a better experience to our students.
Welcome to the People and Culture Directorate site. We are here to provide professional advice, support and guidance for leaders, managers and current and prospective employees.
