Smart Cards

Employees engaged through People & Culture

If you require a new staff card email hrhub@qub.ac.uk with the following details:

  • Name
  • Staff Number
  • Address you wish your card to be posted to or whether you wish to collect your staff card from Level 4, Administration Building (between 09:30 to 13:00 or between 14:00 to 16:00).

Extended Workforce (QWork Staff)

To request a card, send an email to workercard@qub.ac.uk with the following details:

  • Worker Number (Starts with 35 & issues through the IT Integrator).
  • Full Name of Worker as displayed on QWork.
  • Recent "passport style" image of the worker.

Please include contact details and location for delivery.

The cards will be printed on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and will be added to the internal post for delivery.

Not engaged through People & Culture or Extended Workforce

  • If a smartcard is required for access to buildings, the School or the Directorate of Estates can provide a visitor card, email estates.systems@qub.ac.uk

Visiting staff

  • School Office will make arrangements with the Directorate of Estates.
