Explore the village of Helen's Bay in County Down, Northern Ireland, with a hassle-free day trip. For just around £6 per person, take a 25-minute train ride from Europa station via NI Railways. The journey leads you to a charming beach and the adjacent Crawfordsburn Country Park.

Embark on an enchanting journey through Tollymore Forest Park, nestled in Newcastle, County Down, just a couple of hours' drive from Belfast city centre. Spring and summer, from April to September, offer ideal weather for exploration.

Starting off, you'll visit Carrickfergus Castle, a mighty fortress overlooking the sea, where you can step back in time and explore its ancient walls.

Next up, brace yourself for an exciting adventure at the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge. It's a thrilling walk across a swaying bridge high above the waves, offering incredible views of the coastline below. Access to the rope bridge is charged at £10.
