I am a medical anthropologist (PhD) with an MPH - Global Health degree (Johns Hopkins) and an MA degree in Rural Sociology (University of Wisconsin). I was on faculty at McMaster University prior to joining QUB's Centre for Public Health in 2016. As a qualitative researcher, my role on interdisciplinary projects is to lead the qualitative component(s). Often this entails co-desiging research proposals, training staff and students on qualitative research methods, and disseminating results to study participants, communities and policy makers. Community-based research is a key component of much of my work.
