About The Centre

The Centre for Light-Matter Interaction (CLMI) at QUB is a newly formed Research Centre in the School of Mathematics and Physics, currently consisting of 18 academics and 40 postgraduate and postdoctoral researchers. Our research focuses on the modelling,  experimental characterization and application of  physical systems driven by light, ranging from atoms and molecules to plasmas.

Our website will give you a flavour of the research that we carry out, but for more information on our activities, please do not hesitate to contact
