The Centre for Educational Development is running Writing Workshops for colleagues interested in applying for a 2019 Teaching Award.
Please register via iTrent. A sandwich lunch will be provided. Further details of the Teaching Awards scheme, including Notes for Guidance, are available on the CED website. Queries can be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
At this workshop, participants will be given advice and guidance on how to write an evaluative and persuasive account of their learning and teaching work around the following areas of the Teaching Award application:
- How you are promoting and enhancing the learners' experience.
- How you support colleagues and influence support for student learning.
- Professional development activities you've undertaken and the impact of these activities on your approach.
- How the team works collaboratively and how this collaborative working has been advantageous to the team and learners (Team applications).
