Parking space for vehicles within the University and its car parks is limited and, unfortunately, it is not possible for the University to meet all the parking needs of staff and visitors.
The Estates Services Division is responsible for the allocation of parking permits and the enforcement of the car parking conditions of use.
Staff wishing to apply for a parking permit and to pay by salary deductions can do so via the online parking permit system, available at Queen's Online. Staff wishing to pay by cheque or cash should apply to the Estates Directorate in writing, attaching a car parking application form.
From 1 November 2011, the University is changing its system of car park charging from that of a flat rate to one based on vehicle CO2 emissions. This underpins the University's commitment to improving its environmental performance and becoming a sustainable low carbon organisation. For more information on the changes, including the charging bands, please refer to the Car Parking Charges .
Any general queries regarding parking should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
