The University of La Rioja is the only University in this small, quiet region in Northern Spain. The University was founded in 1992 and, as a centre devoted to Higher Education, research and cultural promotion. The University of La Rioja (UR) is located on a modern campus in Logroño, capital of La Rioja, where 7,500 students are registered on courses in 26 undergraduate programs, Doctorates, Masters and other postgraduate courses.
