This is an event co-hosted with the Centre for Gender in Politics and the Mitchell Institute and The Senator George J. Mitchell Institute for Global Peace, Security and Justice. 

Staff are encouraged to bring questions and ideas about equality, conflict and polarization, and attacks on LGBT rights around the world.

This event will delve into LGBT rights within the sphere of international diplomacy. Douglas Janoff has written the first study of multilateral LGBT human rights diplomacy viewed from the perspectives of the practitioners on the ground. Janoff will discuss his groundbreaking research and insights on how LGBT issues are integrated and addressed in global diplomatic efforts.
