MARK MCNALLY, SCREENWRITER

Mark is a Screenwriter based in Belfast and is a QUB BA Film Alumni. In 2016, Mark won N.I Screen’s New Writer Focus Programme with his script In the Land of Saints and Sinners. This script, an Irish Western he later developed with Terry Loane, entered production in 2022, directed by Robert Lorenz (Trouble with the Curve) stars Liam Neeson, Kerry Condon, Jack Gleeson, Colm Meaney and Ciaran Hínds. The film premiered at the 80th Venice International Film Festival in 2023 and released globally in 2024. Presently, Mark has multiple screenplays in development with Screen Ireland, alongside producers Lee Magiday (The Favourite) and Rory Gilmartin (Calm with Horses) — and with N.I Screen and Terry Loane once again.


URSULA DEVINE, NI SCREEN

Ursula is the lead on Independent Film at Northern Ireland Screen and runs the scripted development of feature film, TV drama and comedy. Development and executive producer work includes: 71 (2014) BAFTA nominated, BAD DAY FOR THE CUT (2017, Sundance) BIFA nominated. THE DIG (2018, TIFF). ORDINARY LOVE (2019, TIFF), A BUMP ALONG THE WAY (2019, TIFF), BOYS FROM COUNTY HELL (2020, Tribeca), NIGHTRIDE (2021, TIFF) THE LAST RIFLEMAN (2023), IN THE LAND OF SAINTS AND SINNERS (2023). As well as recent Sundance winner KNEECAP (2024).


ADAM WILKINSON, LOCATION & PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT

Beginning his career in factual entertainment, Adam worked on the likes of X-Factor, Flog It, The Great British Menu and regional live breakfast programming. After a stint globe-trotting he found himself back in Northern Ireland and falling into the scripted world and the locations department. Almost ten years later Adam runs his own company providing location services to productions and in 2020 began producing shorts and commercials via his production company. Most recently Adam has headed up the first full sustainability department in Northern Ireland for an NBC Universal Tentpole feature and will be shortly starting work with the leading global streaming service.


SARAH SPEERS, ART DIRECTOR

With a design degree, Sarah has worked in Film and Television for 20 years. Across her career Sarah has worked as a Production Buyer, Set Decorator and Art Director. Since completing her first feature as standby Art Director in Glasgow, Sarah has since worked on High End productions in Belfast such as Game of Thrones and Hunger and on many commercials such as Nike, Bushmills Whisky and BT. Sarah is currently working full time managing Stags Head Prop Hire.

MATTHEW BRADLEY, ALT ANIMATION

Matthew began his animation career as a designer and since 2021, has been working as Development Producer for ALT Animation, a production company based in Northern Ireland. In this role, he has been able to write and direct work for BBC Bitesize, RTÉ and produce a sitcom pilot after a successful pitch to Northern Ireland Screen’s Creative Animation scheme. In 2022, a comedy series he created, ‘Captain Onion’s Buoyant Academy For Wayward Youth’ was selected for commission through BBC Children’s Ignite scheme and will air in 2026.
