Our mentoring programmes are dynamic initiatives connecting accomplished alumni with current students.

By sharing your expertise and experiences, you could play a crucial role in shaping the lives of our students.

MENTORING GOALS

  • To provide students with real-world insights into their chosen fields.
  • To assist students in setting and achieving academic and career goals.
  • To foster a strong sense of community and networking among our alumni and students

Mentor Responsibilities

As an alumni mentor, you will:

  • Be paired with a student based on your background, shared interests and career goals.
  • Offer guidance on academic and career related issues.
  • Share your professional and personal experiences.
  • Provide advice on networking opportunities, plus recruitment and selection skills.
  • Commit to meet and communicate with your mentee on a regular basis.
  • Attend mentor programme events.

Requirements

There are many ways to help. You could be a recent graduate who shares insights into how best to prepare for the transition to working life, or a more experienced alum with extensive knowledge of your industry, who can provide up-to-date sector advice and long-term career guidance.

TIME COMMITMENT

Varies according to the programme, but approximately 1-2 hours a month.
