New Fulbright Fellowship in Irish Studies at Queen's University Belfast available from 2027
The US-UK Fulbright Commission's Queen's University Belfast Award in Irish Studies covers a six-month appointment to research, lecture and teach in Irish Studies in Northern Ireland.

The Scholar will assist in the delivery of a suitable Irish-related module offered by one of the academic schools – either School of History, Anthropology, Philosophy and Politics (HAPP), or Arts, English and Languages (AEL), as appropriate – as well as lead one graduate seminar in the Scholar's field of expertise and interest on the Irish Studies postgraduate taught programme.
The Scholar would also be expected to offer research seminars on his or her published work, or work in progress, participate in events sponsored by the Institute of Irish Studies, the Seamus Heaney Centre and/or the Mitchell Institute, as appropriate, and more generally support the ongoing interdisciplinary work of the Institute of Irish Studies and the relevant academic schools by engaging in discussion, interaction, collaboration and research.
The appointment will start in January 2027.
