I graduated from Newcastle University in 2009 with a BSc. Hons in Biology.

From 2012 I began working as a technician for the commercial laboratory Biosearch based in Belfast.

In 2016 I became a research technician as part of the HaBio project in the Centre for Cancer Research and Cell Biology, Queen’s University.
