The University’s cycle to work scheme, Cycle+, offers staff the opportunity to obtain a bicycle and safety equipment for less than normal cost.
Cycle+ is operated through Cyclescheme, and by joining the scheme staff can hire a tax-free bike and safety equipment for work.
For most people will result in a saving of between 32% and 42% on the cost of the equipment.
By applying to the scheme, staff can have the use of a new bicycle and safety equipment, up to a value of £1,000.
The University requests that, for staff requesting an e-bike through the cycle to work scheme, they should ensure that the e-bike specification includes a removable battery.
To access the Cyclescheme website you must enter the unique University code of 60cd5a.

The University offers salaried employees an interest-free loan towards the purchase of an annual travel card (which can gain you a 20% discount).

Parking space for vehicles within the University and its car parks is limited and unfortunately it is not possible for the University to meet all the parking needs of staff and visitors.
The University issues car parking permits for a number of parking areas around the campus. The demand for car parking exceeds the provision and the permits are issued annually, subject to the payment of a fee.
Visitor parking is still available. Please see Visitor Parking section below where you will find a link to the User Guide
Please log into Queen's Online to access the car parking system.

As part of the University’s electric vehicle infrastructure, Queen's provides double-headed EV chargers in key locations across campus, designed to improve accessibility and support our transition to a lower carbon campus.
Queen's also operates a fleet of fully electric vans servicing the University estate. These vehicles support day-to-day campus operations, offering a cleaner, quieter alternative to traditional diesel-powered transport.
