Service Description

The EduBuild Project Management Service is provided by DIS to the Estates Planning and Development teams in Estates Directorate. The service provides a mechanism to:

  • Manage Estates Projects through all RIBA Stages through Project Control Centre (PCC):
  • Model financial and resource entities
  • Facilitate loading of data and reporting

Facilitate self-service administration and security of the system

  • Provide mechanism to allocate roles to Estates personnel
  • PCC – allows management of
  1. Project checklists;
  2. Personnel;
  3. Project locations;
  4. Project directory;
  5. Planning applications;
  6. Building control applications;
  7. Balances;
  8. Procurement control register;
  9. Unsatisfactory works;
  10. Site inspection records;

  1. RIBA Guidance & Templates;
  2. Project documents;
  3. Project drawings;
  4. Project emails

Additional Support Information

Service Hours

The EduBuild Project Management Service is available to the authorised users at all times

Support Hours

  • The Triage Service is supported during the agreed service hours

Outside of Agreed Support Hours, access to the Service may be affected due to system upgrades, maintenance etc.

Queen’s DIS Department has a standard response time to all Incidents & Requests (Available Separately). Any Incidents or Requests in relation to the Service will be responded to within the agreed timeframe. Please note that these response times refer to normal supported hours. 

Requests are managed by EduBuild Project Management Service using the EduBuild Issue Log; additional communications are carried out at formal meetings, by telephone and by email.

Outside of the agreed service hours, the agreed escalation points are as follows:
