Queen's is organising this event in partnership with a wide range of key partners such as UU, HSC R&D Division Industry Engagement, iREACH Health, InvestNI, and the Belfast Health and Social Trust within the Chronic Eye Disease space.

A wide range of experts from both academia, industry, and research are being brought together to help solve industry led challenges and as such we are inviting all academic, researcher, clinical and postdoctoral staff to register now to take part in this event and to apply their expertise to the challenges and questions that industry have posed (these challenges can be found here).

The event itself is free and the day will be inter-dispersed with talks from experts within the field, networking and discussions around each company’s submitted questions facilitated with academics, clinicians, and research experts from Queen's in attendance.

AIMday offers the opportunity for attendees to:

  • meet a potential industry partner;
  • discuss real issues;
  • make contacts that might lead to future projects or employment; and
  • understand how your research can make an impact.

Please note: each attendee can select up to 10 questions where they can attend and input to the round table discussions with the companies who posed the challenges and other experts on the day.
