In addition to her role as illustrator, Ruth has acted as an assistant-director on numerous excavations for the CAF, and she directed the excavations at Carrickfergus town walls and Raholp. Ruth has also provided the illustrations for a number of Data Structure Reports using Adobe Illustrator, including the reports for Dunnyneill Island, Tully Castle, Ballyharry and Rathlin Island.
