The Illumina MiSeq system facilitates a variety of sequencing applications. It is capable of up to 15 Gbp per run, delivering up to 600 bases per read. Library preparation kits can be utilised for a variety of applications, including targeted gene, small genome, amplicon sequencing, 16S metagenomics, and more.
The Illumina NextSeq 2000 offer flexible, scalable, and cost-effective sequencing options for users, from small scale projects to large scale studies via a range of flow cell options. The NextSeq 2000 supports applications ranging from whole exome sequencing and shotgun metagenomics to single cell sequencing, delivering up to 360 Gbp per run and up to 300 bases per read.
The Illumina NovaSeq 6000 system offers deep and broad coverage through advanced applications for a comprehensive view of the genome. High-throughput and scalable sequencing is provided by a range of flow cells, delivering outputs of up to 6Tbp of sequencing data and reads of up to 250 bases.
The NovaSeq 6000 is accessed through the Precision Medicine Centre.
The PacBio Sequel IIe is optimised for generation of high throughput, long-read sequencing data using HiFi technology. Powered by Single Molecule, Real-Time (SMRT) sequencing technology, the Sequel IIe enables researchers to investigate structural variation, generate de novo assemblies and DNA methylation.
The GridION offers flexible, high throughput real-time long-read sequencing using nanopore technology. Short to ultra-long reads (>4 Mb) may be performed with on-board analysis allowing immediate sample readout and output of up to 250Gb, including methylation analysis.
The Microlab Star offers optimum flexibility thanks to modularity. It is an adaptable platform that can be modified to fulfil workflow needs. Located in our Post-PCR lab, the Micro Lab star can be utilised for automated NGS library preparation clean-step steps.
The ECHO offers rapid and precise liquid transfers. Tasks like plate reformatting, hit picking, daughter plate creation, and adding samples and reagents for screening assays are made easy. This is particularly adaptable for high-throughput miniaturised qRT-PCR setup and siRNA screen plating and assay miniaturisation.
Located in our Pre-PCR laboratory, the Beckman-Coulter FXP Liquid Handler allows you to optimize performance and reduce hands-on time for most genomic, drug discovery and basic research application workflows. We also offer a library of demonstrated NGS and nucleic acid sample prep methods.
The Chromium™ System supports comprehensive genomics and high-throughput single cell transcriptomics. It enables you to discover previously inaccessible genomic information at unprecedented scale, including phased structural variants, phased single nucleotide variants, and dynamic gene expression of individual cells—while leveraging existing sequencing systems and workflows.
The Fragment Analyzer is a parallel capillary electrophoresis instrument designed for QC analysis of nucleic acids. There is an extensive library of kits covering the full range of nucleic acid analysis applications, from NGS library validation to genotyping. Common RNA and DNA analysis applications.
The Agilent 4200 TapeStation system is an established automated electrophoresis tool for DNA and RNA sample quality control. Fully automated sample processing enables the unattended analysis of size, concentration and integrity for quick and reliable sample quality control within any NGS, microarray aCGH or qPCR workflow.
The MagNA Pure 96 System purifies DNA, RNA, and viral nucleic acids from a wide range of starting materials including whole blood, cultured cells, fresh frozen tissue or FFPE tissue using magnetic glass particle technology. Preprogrammed software protocols are tailored to a diversity of sample requirements using specified MagNA Pure 96 kits. Resulting nucleic acids are suitable for a broad range of downstream applications. The MagNA Pure 96 System can processes up to 96 samples using barcoded, prefilled trays with ready-to-use reagents.
The LightCycler® 480 System is a high-performance, medium- to high-throughput PCR platform (96- or 384-well plates) that provides various methods for gene detection, gene expression analysis, genetic variation analysis, and array data validation.
