The number of items you can borrow depends on the type of borrower you are.

Standard loans will be automatically renewed up to three times if not required by another borrower – see Renewals. Short loan items are not renewable.
You can also place requests for standard loan items - see Requesting items. Short loan items are not requestable.
Items may be recalled if required by another person - see Recalls.
You will not be able to borrow or request other material if your book becomes overdue. Very overdue items will be considered lost and you will be charged for the cost of replacing it - see Fines and Charges.
You may also borrow laptops and phone chargers from each Library branch and, in the McClay Library, laptop mice and a high visibility keyboard.
